Manchester Paediatric Club

The Paediatric section of the Manchester Medical Society is dedicated to the advancement of children and young people’s health. Our committee comprises of a mixture of paediatric & neonatal consultants, CAMH consultants, paediatric trainees and medical students.

We host regular educational meetings and seminars both in face and online. These are focused on providing updates in the latest topics in paediatric medicine. Our meetings are of benefit to anyone with an interest in child health and offer a place to meet likeminded individuals and an opportunity to network with colleagues from around the Northwest . The division runs an annual meeting where we invite abstracts from medical student and trainees with prizes awarded for best presentation.

Paediatrics is a highly collaborative specialty, and we enjoy working with other colleagues in other fields such as mental health, public health and general practioners.
