Dr Vidya Srinivasan, Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry, University Dental Hospital of Manchester


The specialty of Paediatric Dentistry undertakes a holistic approach when providing care for a child with hypodontia.  Along with primary care providers and the other dental specialties the paediatric dentists contribute towards diagnosis, communication, anticipatory care and maintaining the dentition from birth until completion of skeletal growth.  Dr Srinivasan will outline the Paediatric Dentists’ role, partnerships and challenges in the care provision of Hypodontia patients.

  2. Highlight the issues relevant to Paediatric Dentistry when caring for a patient with hypodontia.
