The section holds 4 meetings a year to which
members, trainees and health professionals are welcome to attend. The programme
includes a symposium and the trainees' prize presentations.
RETHINK ACADEMIC PRIZE IN
PSYCHIATRY

Friday 15th February 2008
Abstracts are invited from
SHO, SpR, new consultants and SAS doctors in the North West Region
for presentation at a meeting of the Section of Psychiatry.
Abstracts should present novel
findings or new interpretations of existing data. They should include brief details
of the rationale for the research and the methods used, including the statistical
approach. Ideally the major findings should be stated. Any references necessary for an
understanding of the work should be included, either in the body of the text or at the
end.
Abstracts must be typed on plain
A4 white paper.
The best oral presentation will be awarded a prize. The papers selected by the
judges will be presented by the authors at an
afternoon meeting on Wednesday 28th February 2007.
