The section of Primary Care
is innovative and creative in its approach and values the input of all professionals in
primary care. All our meetings, discussions and debates are multi-professionally focused
and will benefit all people working in Primary Care: Nurses, Practice Managers, General
Practitioners, Professions Allied to Medicine, Pharmacists etc.
Generally we meet 3-4 times a year in the early evening for about
2 hours (including light refreshments) and have a debate or presentation and discussion
around a topical subject related to Primary Care. For example NSFs, Palliative care, Nurse
Prescribing and Patient Practitioner Relationships are amongst many of them.
However, we
need more ideas, more topics and definitely enthusiastic people to join our section and
also join the evening debates. So, speak to your staff and/or colleagues and advertise
this Web Page as much as you can.
