Section of Anaesthesia

Office bearers and members of Council for the 2011/2012 Session

The section normally holds 5-6 meetings a year.  Highlights of the programme include a joint meeting with the Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists, joint meeting with the Yorkshire Society of Anaesthetists and the prestigious Manchester Medal Lecture.  The section also awards the Abbott Registrars' prize and the Zeneca Registrars' Prize. On 9th November 2006, the Section held a well attended symposium on "Anaesthesia in difficult circumstances".
